Method of animating a video game scene, where the participant moves in the virtual scenery of the game and the scenery is viewed along a vision cone. An opaque character, representing the player, is integrated and designed to reproduced gestures. The vision cone is associated with the animated character. The summit of the cone is situated at eye level of the animated character, and the cone axis is controlled along the action target. The cone axis is controlled by a pre-established program. The axis of the vision cone is directed along the controlled gestures of the animated character.
