The exhaust line (114) comprises two exhaust pipes (116A,116B) whose outlets (120A,120B) are connected by a junction (121) to the same gas outlet pipe (122,123). A diversion (124A,124B) is tapped on each exhaust pipe and a valve (126) is connected between the two diversions. Valve controls (130,132) maintain the valve sealed for engine throttle settings less than a pre-defined switch over and to maintain the valve open for throttle settings greater than the pre-defined switching. Independent claims are included for an exhaust network and a motorization set utilizing the exhaust line.
