The localization of anomalies in a bodily organ uses a number of views taken from different angles. A model of the deformation of the organ is determined between two viewing angles, allowing deduction of a search zone in another digital image taken at another angle. Anomalies in the search zone can then be compared for similarity when analyzing the images.
