PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To update usable contents by downloading and executing usable music data and a usable program at the time of a connection with a network. SOLUTION: A hard disk drive(HDD) 104 is stored with various data for display, music data (performance data) as music data, programs for music data processing, etc. A program for music data processing on the HDD 104 is loaded onto a RAM 102 through specific user's operation and executed by a CPU 101. This music data processor is connected to a host computer 121 through the network 120 and programs and data can be downloaded from the host computer 121. Thus, the music data and various programs which process the music data are decentralized to a local file system and the network 120 and when a connection with the network 120 is made, usable data and programs are downloaded and executed.
