PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sliding tool for sunlight shielding plate which can be easily mounted on a sunlight shielding plate such as a sunshade. ;SOLUTION: A sliding tool 20, which is mounted on a sunshade 10 sliding to the internal wall of a guide rail 15, is provided with upper and lower holding pieces 30 and 40, which are separately formed from each other, and are turnably connected to the sliding tool through connection sections. The external surface of the flexible section 32 formed in the upper holding piece 30 by a notch (slit 31) is provided with a projection 33, and when the holding pieces 30 and 40 are closed, the flexible section 32 is energized outward by the spring member 50 supported by the spring supporting piece 41 of the lower holding piece 40. The spring supporting piece 41 is formed with a through hole, with which a lock arm 35 provided in the upper holding piece 30 is engaged when the holding pieces 30 and 40 are closed. This sliding tool 20 is mounted only to hold the sunshade 10 between the holding pieces 30 and 40, eliminating rivet caulking work as in conventional sliding tools. The attached sliding tool 20 presses the projection 33 against the guide rail 15, supporting the sunshade 10 without chattering.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
