Antisense oligonucleotide regulation of transforming growth factor-β expression

Compositions and methods are provided for modulating the expression of TGF-beta. Antisense compounds, particularly antisense oligonucleotides, targeted to nucleic acids encoding TGF-beta are preferred. Methods of using these compounds for modulation of TGF-beta expression and for treatment of diseases associated with expression of TGF-beta are also provided. Methods of sensitizing cells to apoptotic stimuli are also provided.
