PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an electric power apparatus operation maintenance support system, which forecasts deterioration of an electric power apparatus to a changing load with high precision, and can show the time margin as far as the limit of each apparatus and operation allowable time, when abnormality is generated. SOLUTION: The current temperature in an apparatus is simulated with a thermally equivalent model on the basis of operating state signals from various kinds of sensors arranged in the apparatus which signals are changed with time. By using the temperature of the respective portions which are obtained in the process as initial values, temperature change with time after present time is simulated again and obtained on the basis of forecasted change of the load and cooling apparatus control condition. Results are outputted by using a graph or the like. When forecasted coil temperature exceeds a preset critical temperature, it is considered that the state is abnormal. Thereby critical operation is enabled in the case of heavy load operation.
