PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic musical instrument provided with a regist sequence function consisting of plural models in which the numbers of regist switches are different from each other at a low price and also to provide the compatibility of regist data and regist sequences among respective models. ;SOLUTION: Regist data and regist sequences produced by operating an input device 106 or read out from a recording medium by an external memory 107 are stored in an RAM 104. A CPU 108 sets the regist data specified by the operating of the input device 106 to a sound source 101 or the like according to a control program being in an ROM 105. However regist switches directly specifying respective regist data are provided for the input device 106, regist data which do not correspond to any regist switches are also stored in the RAM 104 and those are set to the sound source 101 or the like.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
