PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a circuit small, which is suitable for an orthogonal modulator and an orthogonal demodulator. ;SOLUTION: A 1st anti-parallel diode pair APDP 2a and a 2nd APDP 2b are connected in series. A 1st LO(local oscillation) wave short-circuit 20a connects to the APDP 2a and a 2nd LO wave short-circuit 20b connects to the APDP 2b. An RF wave distributed by a 180-degree distribution circuit 21 is applied to the end of 1st and 2nd APDP connected in series. An LO wave is fed to a connecting point between the 1st and 2nd APDP via 1st or 2nd IF wave block circuits 22a, 22b. First and second RF wave blocking circuits 23a, 23b provide outputs of IF waves to 1st and 2nd IF terminals 9c, 9b.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
