PURPOSE: To take out a dry analyzing film piece from a cartridge without damaging the surface thereof and to judge the presence of the analyzing film piece in the cartridge without receiving spatial restriction in the arrangement of a detector. ;CONSTITUTION: At each time when the taking-out operation of a dry analyzing film piece 1 is performed, it is judged whether the dry analyzing film piece remains in a cartridge at an analyzing film piece presence judging position 10 different from an analyzing film piece taking-out position 101 spatially and, on the basis of this judgment result, it can be determined whether the next time taking-out operation of the dry analyzing film piece 1 from the cartridge 20 is performed.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
