PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the change processing of a directory structure based on difference update information on the reception side performable in the order of significance in a service for broadcasting the directory structure. SOLUTION: On the transmission side 1, the change of a directory structure managed by a server 11 is detected by a replicator 12, and the difference update information of container and leaf hierarchies are respectively generated and transmitted. The list of the container hierarchies for selectively fetching the received difference update information is prepared in a reception side replicator 17. The priority is set in the container hierarchies listed in the list. Then, the difference update information of the container hierarchies is fetched according to the priority of the list, and the directory structure managed by the reception side server 16 is changed according to the difference update information of the leaf hierarchies being the subordinates of the fetched container hierarchies. When the processing of the structure changed based on the fetched difference update information can not be ended within a prescribed time, the difference update information whose priority is set so as to be low in the list is successively eliminated.
