PURPOSE:To provide a method and system for detecting a remarked point capable of obtaining the absolute coordinates of the remarked point quantitatively when a view changing successively with time is visually inspected. CONSTITUTION:A video changing with time is photographed (001), and it is displayed for a testee body loading an eyeball direction detector, and an image on which a mark representing a remarked point is displayed is obtained. While, an illustration image similar to a photographed image is displayed on a monitor (011-016), and a remarked position is recognized from a mark display image, and it is plotted on the monitor (020). A CPU detects the coordinates on the minitor (021), and a screen is converted from a flat screen to a spherical one (022), and the absolute coordinates of a spherical projecting point at the remarked position are detected (023), and a straight line is found from the absolute coordinates of the spherical projecting point and that of a viewpoint position (024), then, the absolute coordinates of the remarked point can be found by finding an intersection with a certain plane (025).
