PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication terminal device capable of quickly and continuously acquiring commodity sales information for commodities purchased by consumers and providing it to an agent who requires it, and to provide a collecting/providing system for commodity purchase information.;SOLUTION: This system comprises a communication terminal device for collecting commodity purchase information, which comprises a bar code reader 2 for a commodity code attached to a commodity purchased and a portable communication device 3 connected thereto to transmit and receive information; a data processor 4 connected to a plurality of communication terminal devices 6 through a communication network 10 to acquire information for purchased commodity transmitted therefrom; and a plurality of agent contractant devices 7.
