PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a car monitoring system for accurately monitoring the use state of a car.;SOLUTION: This car monitoring system for monitoring the use state of the car comprises an onboard terminal 30 mounted on the car 40 and a car monitoring device 20 having a communication means with the onboard terminal 30. The on-vehicle terminal 30 has a request receiving part for receiving a request for transmission of the use amount of the car 40 from the car monitoring device 20, a use amount acquisition part for acquiring the use amount of the car, and a use amount transmission part for transmitting information showing the acquired use amount to the car monitoring device when receiving the request for transmission.
