PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To have a customer wanting clothes draw the design drawing of the clothes matched with the body shape of himself/herself and to quickly and easily prepare the paper pattern of the clothes based on it by applying a CAD/ CAM technique.;SOLUTION: The body shape of the customer is measured as three- dimensional data, the body shape information of the customer is reported to the customer wanting to design his/her clothes on the basis of the three- dimensional data, the customer refers to the body shape information and draws a desired clothes design drawing and the design drawing is inputted via a digital input device to the server computer of a paper pattern service center. Customer dummy data are constituted by correcting the position coordinates of the feature points of a standard human body dummy data obtained by three-dimensionally measuring the body shape of a standard dummy on the basis of the position coordinates of the feature points of a customer human body corresponding to them and the draping of putting the clothes of the three-dimensional dummy is performed.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
