PURPOSE: To make grinding process unnecessary by a method wherein a cylindrical supporting structure with pores on the outer surface is supported rotatably with variable speed and a liq. silicone elastic material is fed into the supporting structure at a high speed rotation and it is guided onto the surface of the supporting structure through the pores by utilizing centrifugal force to manufacture a film, which is cured by heating at a low speed rotation. ;CONSTITUTION: A cylindrical supporting structure (a structure) 6 on which a silicone elastic material layer is formed to be turned into a roller is set in a hollow cylindrical mold 5 of a roller manufacturing machine 1. A plurality of pores passing through the outer surface of the structure 6 are formed. Then, a pipe body 16 is moved along a slide 8 in the structure 6 and a silicone elastic material (an elastic material) is filled from the pipe body 16. Then, the elastic material is diffused onto the outer peripheral face through pores by centrifugal force by rotating it with the mold 5 at high speed. Then, rotation is made to low speed and a heat generating resistance 22 is actuated to heat and cure the elastic material. When a plurality of layers are formed, this operation is repeated.
