PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a monitoring information automatically setting method and a monitoring information automatic setting system unit, which can reduce work quantity necessary for registration of a basic path and registration of alarm output destinations.;SOLUTION: This method comprises a distribution destination node setting processing (ST3) that decides thee address of a distribution destination node A15 being a distribution destination of an alarm output showing failure occurrence about the basic path 22 from registration information (ST1 and ST2) of the basic path 22 constituting a bundle of lines, and a distribution destination node registration processing (ST3) that registers the address of the distribution destination node A15 decided by the distribution destination node setting processing in a database 13 to be used at the time when the alarm output is distributed.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
