PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that an input/output buffer is required by every disk device to multiply process partial write to plural disk devices.;SOLUTION: In this disk controller to connect a cache memory with the plural disk devices, a partial write detecting means to judge presence/absence of the partial write when a WRITE command is received from a host computer, a pre-fetch issuing means to issue a PRE-FETCH command to the disk device when the partial write is judged to exist by the partial write detecting means, a link command issuing means to issue the READ command and the WRITE command by linking them when the PRE-FETCH command is finished and the input/output buffer to temporality store input/output data to the disk device.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
