PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an order receiving server allowing a transportation company to speedily transport an article in response to a customer and a customer to easily specify a transportation company. ;SOLUTION: This order receiving server comprises a means for specifying present- position information of a plurality of transporting vehicles by receiving present-position information of a self through a line 5 from task receiving terminals 1 of the plurality of transporting vehicles, a means for specifying a customer's position of a transportation object of the customer and a destination's position by receiving distribution information including the customer's position and the destination's position through the line 5 from a plurality of ordering terminals 2, a means for specifying, as a task receiving transporting vehicle, a transporting vehicle with the present-position information of the transporting vehicle closest to the destination's position of the transportation object of present-position information of the plurality of transporting vehicles, and a means for transmitting the distribution information including the customer's position and the destination's position through the line 5 to the task receiving terminal 1 of the specified transporting vehicle as the task receiving transporting vehicle.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
