PURPOSE: To provide a new ply bonding device capable of remarkably reducing dynamic loads generated by vibration by securing the separate applications of respective wheels to the cylinder surface of a counter roller even when the counter roller is deformed. ;CONSTITUTION: This ply bonding device for a paper converting machine is provided with supporting bodies 1 and 5 to which a movable unit 15 is pivoted. The movable unit is provided with a pressure wheel 19 for cooperating with the counter roller 2 and a pressure device 31 for pressing the wheel 19 to the counter roller 2. The wheel 19 is elastically supported by the movable unit 15 and the position of the unit is decided by a contact piece on the supporting bodies 1 and 5 during an operation.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1994,JPO
