RECYCLE PRETREATMENT FACILITY IN LANDFILL DISPOSAL SITE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably supply the combustible and incombustibles the particle size of each of which is adjusted to the prescribed one to a post-treatment facility where valuable and usable metals of coarse nonferrous metals, massive iron, and nonmagnetic materials such as stainless steel, stones and rocks, and toxic and dangerous objects are removed from landfill waste at a landfill disposal site and melted or burned.;SOLUTION: The landfill waste obtained by removing massive iron, dangerous objects or the like is stored in a waste pit. The landfill waste stored in the waste pit is sorted into coarse waste and fine waste by a rough sorter. The coarse waste is crushed roughly by a rough crusher. The fine waste is sorted into the incombustibles each having the particle size equal to or smaller than the prescribed one and the combustibles each having the particle size equal to or larger than the prescribed one by a primary sorter. The incombustibles sorted by the primary sorter is stored in an incombustible pit. The sorted combustibles are crushed by a crusher. The combustibles each having the particle size equal to or smaller than the prescribed one are sorted from all of the combustibles crushed by the crusher by a secondary sorter. The combustibles which are sorted by the secondary sorter and each of which has the particle size equal to or smaller than the prescribed one are stored in a combustible pit. Each of the incombustibles and the combustibles obtained by the pretreatment mentioned above is made harmless, volume-reduced, and recycled by melting, incinerating or other methods.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
