PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a method for surely and automatically adjusting a characteristics of a dielectric filter in a short time by repeating an electric parameter extraction step, an adjustment amount calculation step and an adjustment step untill a characteristics parameter of the dielectric filter reaches a prescribed value. ;SOLUTION: For example, mainly resonance frequencies f1, f2 rise and a coupling coefficient K12 increases by eliminating an adjustment part A1. When an adjustment part A2 is eliminated while the coefficient k12 is increased through the elimination of the adjustment part A1, the resonance frequencies f1, f2 rise and the coefficient k12 is decreased. Then a characteristics parameter is measured on the basis of specific simultaneous equations depending on the adjustment positions, and an adjustment amount of parameter adjustment parts is obtained according to an electric parameter of a design equivalent circuit of the filter obtained from the characteristics parameter and an object electric parameter.
