PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the liquid crystal display panel and liquid crystal display device, and the inspecting method for the liquid crystal display panel and the manufacturing method for the liquid crystal display device which make it possible to easily discriminate panel kinds with high certainty and reduce defect occurrence by preventing a different kind of panel from being mixed. ;SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display device 40 is constituted including the liquid crystal display panel 10 and a connection substrate 30. The liquid crystal display panel 10 has a 1st substrate 20 and a 2nd substrate 22 facing each other across liquid crystal and also has electrodes formed on those substrates. The liquid crystal display panel 10 has an electrode terminal group 12 which is formed on the 2nd substrate 22 and connected to electrodes respectively and a discrimination mark 50 which is formed nearby the electrode terminal group 12 and serves as a positioning mark for fitting the connection substrate, 30 and as a mark for discriminating a panel kind.
