Fluorometholone suspension type eye drops

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a fluorometholone suspension type eye drop better in re- dispersiblity and scarcely forming an aggregate. ;SOLUTION: This fluorometholone suspension type eye drop is obtained by formulating a cellulosic polymer and a nonionic surfactant and raising the re-dispersibility of the fluorometholone which is an active ingredient. The amount of the formulated cellulosic polymer is preferably 0.0001-0.003% and the amount of the formulated nonionic surfactant is preferably 0.0001-0.5%. The preferred cellulosic polymer is hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose or methyl cellulose and the preferred nonionic surfactant is Polysorbate 80 (R).;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
