A hollow molded product which contains a polyester composition containing an ethylene-2,6-naphthalene dicarboxylate polymer and at least one ultraviolet absorber in an amount of 0.01 to 5.0 wt% based on the ethylene-2,6-naphthalene dicarboxylate polymer, and which has a birefringence factor ( DELTA n) of the barrel portion of 0.17 or more, and a process for preparation thereof.
