PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crosslinkable polysulfone which is excellent in ionic conduction, water resistance and methanol resistance and has a proton acid group, its crosslinked product, an ionic conductive polymer membrane for a fuel cell, and a fuel cell. PSOLUTION: The proton acid group-containing crosslinkable polysulfone comprises having a proton acid group in the molecular chain and a crosslinkable group which can be crosslinked by heat and/or light in the molecular chain and/or at the terminal, and is preferable if it has a repeating unit represented by formula (1) in the polymer (wherein A is a single bond, -CHSB2/SB-, -C(CHSB3/SB)SB2/SB-, -O-, -S-, -SOSB2/SB-, or -CO-, m is a number of 0-2, R and R' are each a 1-10C alkyl group, s and s' are each a number of 0-4, X and Y are each a proton acid group selected from a sulfo group, a carboxylate group and a phosphate group, and their metal salts, x and y are each a number of 0-2, and x+y is one or more). The crosslinked product is obtained from the sulfone. The ionic conductive polymer membrane for a fuel cell and the fuel cell comprises the crosslinked product. PCOPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
