PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a thermally stable silicone composition or silicone elastomer.;SOLUTION: The silicone composition comprises (A) 20-99 mass% of a polyorganosiloxane having 0.1-500,000 Pas viscosity at 25°C and at least 2 alkenyl groups based on the molecule, (B) 1-80 mass% of a nonreinforcing filler having 0.1-200 μm average particle size and 100 m2/g specific surface area, (C) a crosslinking component selected from the group of an organosilicon compound combined with (C1) an organic peroxide and (C2) a hydrosilylation catalyst and having at least 2 SiH-functional groups per molecule and (D) a nitrogen compound selected from the group of an amino compound, an ammonium compound, an amide compound and a nitrogen-containing organosilicon compound.
