PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide fire protection construction for a clinker-built exterior wall, and an exterior wall plate used for the fire protection construction that can improve smoke and flame interruption performance.;SOLUTION: An L-shaped cutout part 11c is placed to abut on the outside of an upper edge part 11b of a lower exterior wall plate 11 to overlap the lower edge part 11a with the upper edge part 11b. A plurality of exterior wall plates 11 are thereby connected in a vertical direction to present clinker-built exterior wall structure. A thermally expansive fireproof material 13 is previously attached from the outside of the upper edge part 11b of the exterior wall plate 11 to the upper face side.
