PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for lowering the temperature of a room on fire, and a structure body for the room on fire for suppressing the temperature rise of the room on fire in case of a fire in a building of steel construction that may be exposed to the fire, to reduce thermal load to structural members, and to ease regulations on the high temperature strength of the structural members to permit cost reduction.;SOLUTION: A wall body for forming a peripheral wall of the room on fire such as a partition wall is formed of a heat absorbing metal plate such as a steel plate with a thickness of 1.5 mm-3.0 mm, and the temperature rise of the room on fire at the outbreak of the fire is suppressed by the heat absorbing action of the heat absorbing wall body.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
