PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reproductive material for a shock absorber or the like which is fabricated by employing a used industrial product, and is low in cost and is superior in shock absorbency.;SOLUTION: A material is the reproductive material for the shock absorber or the like which is employed to retain inside a container, and is the reproductive material for the shock absorber which is characterized in that it is a formed body which is obtained by comminuting the used industrial product comprising a plurality of materials with distinct compressive strength and by removing a metal, and which is molten and solidified by a mortar heating a raw material consisting of a fraction in ash content of 5-95% by weight. The material is an assembly of the material including various breaking strengths and can display better shock absorbency, because subsequently being broken without being broken once when the shock is applied.
