PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a load collapse preventing utensil by which the fitting or removing work to loaded articles loaded on a loading base can be performed without requiring much time and by one person, and the loaded state of the loaded articles being stacked is prevented from being collapsed, or the loaded articles are prevented from being damaged during the fitting work, and a load collapse preventing method for the loaded articles using the load collapse preventing utensil.;SOLUTION: An engaging member (2) is attached to the lower end section of a wind starting side end section (1a) of a band-shape body (1) through a stretchable member (3). For this collapse preventing utensil (10) of such a constitution, the engaging member (2) is attached in a manner to be engaged to an optional location of the loading base (P) on which loading articles (A) are loaded. Then, while fixing the engaging member (2) by properly pulling the engaging member (2) diagonally upward under the state, the winding location is adjusted in such a manner that the boundary section of the loaded articles (A) may be covered and protected. Then, the periphery of the loaded articles (A) is totally wound in such a manner that the loaded articles (A) may be bound, and fixing means (4a and 4b) are bonded to each other.
