PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a coating material which has excellent dispersion effect, thickening effect, film-forming effect and precipitation prevention effect, high in infrared emittance and detection precision.;SOLUTION: This coating material is applied to a material to be tested in a flaw inspection using infrared thermography in which the thermal image of the material to be tested provided with a temperature field is obtained by an infrared camera, and comprises a pigment, a solvent and a dispersant.
