PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fiber having high moisture absorption and desorption property and excellent wash resistance and color fastness and provide a method for producing the fiber.;SOLUTION: The highly moisture-absorbing and desorbing fiber has highly moisture-absorbing and desorbing organic fine particles having a salt-type carboxy group and/or carboxy group fixed to the fiber surface through an epoxy resin. The fiber is produced by applying a mixed composition at least containing highly moisture-absorbing and desorbing organic fine particles having a salt-type carboxy group and/or carboxy group, an epoxy resin and a curing agent to the surface of a fiber and drying and aging the product.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
