EVALUATION METHOD FOR AUTOCHTHONOUS MOTION OF SMOOTH MUSCLE TISSUE IN HUMAN OR ANIMAL, PACEMAKER FUNCTIONS FOR AUTONOMIC PERIPHERAL NERVE SYSTEM AND VERIFICATION METHOD FOR DRUG OR THE LIKE ACTING ON SMOOTH MUSCLE TISSUE USING THE SAME
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for easily studying an autochthonous motion of a smooth muscle tissue and a pacemaker function by using a fine smooth muscle tissue, and to provide a method for easily verifying a dug or the like, acting on the smooth muscle tissue by using the fine smooth muscle tissue.;SOLUTION: In the method, human or animal smooth muscle tissue is crushed fine to be a cell lump of a diameter of micrometer order, and the autochthonous motion of the smooth muscle tissue and the pacemaker function for an autonomic peripheral nerve system are evaluated by using the cell lump. The cell lump preferably contains at least a smooth muscle cell and an anti-c-kit antibody positive cell. The cell lump on the order of a micrometer is preferably within a range of 80 to 150 μm. In the verification method for the drug or the like acting on the smooth muscle tissue, the smooth muscle tissue in human or animal is taken out, or the smooth muscle tissue in the human or the animal dosed in advance with the drug or the like being taken out, the smooth muscle tissue is crushed fine to be in a cell lump in the diameter of micrometer order, and the drug or the like is verified by using the cell lump.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
