PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To carry out decentralized printing with good operability, even from a general-purpose application program.;SOLUTION: In the application program 100, printing data are generated and a printing command is issued. In a virtual printer driver 110, functional information of a virtual printer is fed back to the application 100 on receiving the printing command. The application 100 feeds the printing data converted to the data matching the virtual printer, based on the function information to the virtual printer driver 110. The printing data is stored to HDD as an intermediate printing file MF. The intermediate printing file MF is read from the decentralized printing utility 120 and output to actual printer driver provided corresponding to each printer 60 to 80, while sorting to the printers 60 to 80 according to the decentralized form set from a dialog box.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
