PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system builder functioning as an intelligent tool capable of guiding a process of system configuration and selecting products by evaluating needs of a customer and providing the customer with product information of a supplier.;SOLUTION: The system builder can execute the system configuration of an electronic system from a customer terminal via a communication network. The system builder is composed of a main system selecting page listing a plurality of main systems for having the customer select one main system conforming to one's demand, a sub system selecting page displaying a plurality of sub systems in the main system for having the customer select one sub system conforming to one's demand, and a component selecting page displaying a list of valid recommended components to compose the selected system for having the customer select components conforming to one's demand and configuring the selected sub system.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
