POLYPEPTIDE INVOLVED IN BIOSYNTHESIS OF COBALAMIN AND/OR COBAMIDE, DNA SEQUENCE ENCODING THE SAME POLYPEPTIDE, PREPARATION AND USE OF THEM

PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide polypeptides involved in biosynthesis of cobalamins and/or cobamides and a DNA sequence encoding the polypeptides and to prepare the same and to provide uses of the same. PSOLUTION: The new polypeptides are involved in the biosynthesis of the cobalamins and/cobamides, especially coenzyme BSB12/SB. A genetic material responsible for expression of the polypeptides and a method for preparing the polypeptides are provided. The method for amplifying the production of the cobalamins, particularly the coenzyme BSB12/SBcomprises using a recombinant DNA technique. PCOPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
