PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reactor for subjecting compounds including a nucleic acid to gene amplification reaction through a plurality of temperature cyclings.;SOLUTION: The gene amplification reactor is to be used for carrying out the gene amplification reaction in a mixed fluid comprising carbon dioxide in the form of a supercritical fluid, subcritical fluid, high-pressure gas or liquid and other chemical species including a solvent and gas. The reactor itself is of pressureproof structure to carry out the gene amplification reaction in the supercritical fluid, and the amplification capacity can also be regulated in all of the gene amplification systems using the fluid.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
