PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a relatively inexpensive reverse osmosis membrane element desalting sewage treatment water and various kinds of factory waster water of a relatively high concentration of salts not realized at present and recovering water.;SOLUTION: The recycling method is the one for recycling a used reverse osmosis membrane element in a reverse osmosis membrane module used in a treatment step of obtaining permeated water by treating water to be treated. The reverse osmosis membrane element is recovered from a housing of the reverse osmosis membrane module and is installed in a housing separately prepared to form a reverse osmosis membrane module. The reverse osmosis membrane element in the reverse osmosis membrane module is regeneration- treated and the regeneration treated reverse osmosis membrane element is taken out to recycle it.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
