PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To develop a manufacturing method capable of inexpensively and easily processing fine powdery matter of artificial zeolite difficult to manufacture heretofore without lowering the function of zeolite even after artificial zeolite is processed into target granulated matter or another shaped matter. PSOLUTION: Several kinds of aluminum or glass matters having a hairy fibrous structure having a size of several m are mixed and the resulting mixture is pressed using a special synthetic binder, which is prepared by mixing an adhesive and a curing agent, to manufacture necessary granular matter or shaped matter being clean zeolite permitting only air and water to pass and reduced in the lowering of adsorption capacity, cation exchange capacity or other catalytic function being the function of artificial zeolite. Further, by mixing various charcoals or the like with clean zeolite, a deodorizing function can be widened. Furthermore, by mixing one or more kinds of various recycled matters or practically used matters sluggish in utilization according to a use, synergistic effect for widening a deodorizing function can be obtained and various clean zeolites capable of being utilized and practically used for many uses can be manufactured. When charcoal, natural zeolite or the like is mixed, a manufacturing method becomes easy. According to a use, production using a single material becomes possible. PCOPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
