EXIT DIRECTION GUIDE DEVICE OF TWO-WAY ENTRANCE-EXIT ELEVATOR CAR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow passengers to recognize a direction for an exit more easily than a character display panel before the two-way entrance-exit elevator car is landed.;SOLUTION: The elevator car 1 comprises side plates 2, a top plate 3, a floor plate 4 and a curtain plate 7, and a car door 5 is provided in the two side plates 2 to constitute a two-way entrance-exit. An illumination 10 to indicate the direction of the exit is provided on at least one part of the curtain plate 7, the side plates 2, the top plate 3, the floor plate 4, a peripheral part of a car operation panel 8, and the car door 5. This illumination 10 is lit before the car door 5 on the side forming the exit is opened to give a guide to passengers that the side with the illumination 10 lit is the exit side.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
