PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a measuring method for the surface potential of a photosensitive body which can effectively prevent toner from being wasted during measurement even when a dark potential and a light potential are repeatedly measured as to an electrophotographing device which performs image formation by a reversal developing method.;SOLUTION: The electrophotographing device which performs the image formation by the reversal developing method is characterized in that when the dark potential and light potential of a photosensitive body are measured by using a potential sensor and at least the light potential is measured a plurality of times, the dark potential is measured by applying a specified developing bias and at least the light potential is measured continuously while the developing bias is lowered or removed.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
