PURPOSE:To surely prevent the jumping-out of shots without damaging the surface of a rod or without early abrading it in a seal device fitted to the rod carrying-in port and rod carrying-out port of the cabinet of a shot blast facility for the rod. CONSTITUTION:This shot seal device is provided with the first shielding mechanism 4 constituted of multiple shielding plates 8 fitted to the outside face of a cabinet 1 to face the first shielding member 3 having the second through hole 7 for passing a rod-like product tapered toward the cabinet 1 and nearly concentrically communicated with the first through hole 2 and the first rubber plate 11 or a brush fitted to the cabinet 1 side of the shielding plate 8 located most apart from the cabinet 1 among the shielding plates 8 and having the first notch 10 for passing the rod-like product.
