PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and a method for using digital contents capable of obtaining detailed client information on users using the same electronic book in real time, and supporting communication between the users even after the user downloads an electronic book.;SOLUTION: Every time when a using part 120 of a user terminal 100 is started and a DC 320 is utilized, using information 155 can be automatically notified to a server 350. Therefore, even after a user downloads the DC 320, the server 350 can obtain detailed client information on users using the same DC 320 at the same time in real time. The client information is summed up and distributed to the users, so that the users can obtain the using tendency of other users.
