PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve customer's convenience in automatic financing and to reduce the load of a financial institution.;SOLUTION: A computer 11 of the financial institution is connected to a financier's computer 21 through a network. In the case of a payment transaction generating a balance shortage if an amount required for payment is paid out from a customer's account, the computer 11 transmits inquiry whether financing to the customer concerned with the customer's account is possible or not to the computer 21 of the financier trying to finance the customer. When an inquiry result received from the computer 21 indicates the possibility of financing, the computer 11 moves funds from the financier's account to the customer's account and pays the amount required for payment from the customer's account.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
