PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an environment measuring instrument, an environment monitoring system using the instrument, a harmful insect generation measuring instrument adapting the instrument for the measurement of harmful insects, and a harmful insect monitoring system which have no risk of being operated by a person other than a maintenance person by installing the environment measuring instrument to a height of 3 m or higher above the ground of a power line support (utility pole).;SOLUTION: The environment measuring instrument is provided with a measuring means for measuring surrounding environment, a communication means for transmitting measured data obtained by the measuring means, and a control means for controlling the measuring means and the communication means.
