PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a granulated slag of a high use value by removing efficiently metal constituents after water-granulation of molten slag by a method wherein, after executing a grinding process in which the granulated slag is ground with a ball mill and a separation process in which metal constituents rolled with the grinding process are separated by screening. ;SOLUTION: A granulated slag feeder 1 has a conveying device 11 conveying a granulated slag generated with, for example, a waste melting furnace 5 together with water, and charges the granulated slag into a ball mill 2 via a hopper 12. The ball mill 2 is provided wherein many balls are contained in a cylindrical barrel part equipped with a granulated slag introduction opening and a granulated slag discharge opening 22. The granulated slag is finely ground by rotative transfer of the ball in the barrel part.
