PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a piezoelectric buzzer using piezoelectric ceramics which is improved in both heat resistance and piezoelectric characteristic than the conventional piezoelectric ceramics. ;SOLUTION: A piezoelectric buzzer 10 contains a metallic plate 12. A piezoelectric ceramic layer 14 is formed on the metallic plate 12 and an electrode 16 is formed on the ceramics layer 14. The piezoelectric ceramics composition constituting the ceramics 14 are prepared by substituting 0.2-2 mol% Pb atoms of a lead zirconate titanate expressed by PbA[(TixZr1-x)a(SnyCr1-y)bSbc]O3 (where 0.94≤A≤1.02, 0.46≤x≤0.51, 0.01≤y≤0.5, 0.01≤b≤0.03, 0.01≤c≤0.04, and a+b+c=1) with La.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
