PRETREATMENT COMPOSITION FOR MUD-STAINED CLOTHES, METHOD OF WASHING MUD-STAINED CLOTHES AND DETERGENT FOR WASHING MUD-STAINED CLOTHES

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of washing mud-stained clothes in which the stained clothes are pretreated with a pretreatment composition for mud-stained clothes including oxalic acid and has a pH of 1-5 at 25°C and then washed with a soap-including composition whereby the persistent stains can be readily removed.;SOLUTION: The pretreatment composition for mud-stained clothes includes oxalic acid and has a pH of 1-5 at 25°C (wherein in the case that the composition is solid or powdery, the pH is given when the composition is diluted with water so that the concentration of the oxalic acid may become 1 mass %). After the pretreatment, the clothes are washed with a soap-including composition. Thus, the detergent for washing mud-stained clothes characteristically comprises the pretreatment composition as the first agent, and the soap-including composition as the second agent.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
