PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To operate the vibration analysis of the whole of a system having nonlinear elements surely in a short time with a simple structure by dividing the system into plural sub-systems taking nonlinear elements as boundaries, forming simultaneous motion equations on each sub-system so as to input the characteristics of the nonlinear elements, and obtaining a solution. ;SOLUTION: For instance, a vibration system is divided into two sub-systems taking a dry single plate clutch 2 of a 6×4 large-size truck as a boundary, from the clutch 2 to a vehicle body 16 is assigned as a sub-system 1, and from the clutch 2 to an engine 1 is assigned as a sub-system 2. On the sub-system 1, an equation of motion expressed by the model coordinate of the natural vibration of a drive system and a boundary freedom obtained by the static contraction of Guyan is formed, and on the system 2, after the equation of motion is set up considering the engine 1, the disk of the multistage clutch 2, and a torque change as external force, simultaneous motion equations are formed out of two motion equations so as to input the characteristics of the multistage clutch disk to obtain a solution.
